3D SECURE SYSTEM
3D Secure (3DS) is the new technical standard developed by Visa and MasterCard designed to combat online credit card fraud. Cardholders who have registered for Verify by Visa® or MasterCard Secure Code® use their password to validate their identity whenever they make a purchase on a participating site.

You will be protected by this additional security feature when processing online credit card payments with us, increasing customer confidence while shopping at your web store and reducing the risk of online credit card fraud. 
Discover Enterprise system team has developed 3DS HTML Payment Link Method and 3DS Gateway for Malaysian e-commerce merchants. 

3D secure process flow

1.	Customer shops on your site and pay using credit card. At the checkout page, the customer enters his credit card details for processing payments.
2.	Credit card details will be gone through our system and sent to customer’s card issuing bank and to VISA/MASTER.
3.	A 3DS password screen from the card issuing bank will pop out requesting your customer to key in his personal info (e.g. birthday, IC. No, billing date etc.) or 3DS password.
4.	The password will be sent back to card issued bank and VISA/MASTER for verification and authentication purposes.

5.	Authentication result is then sent to our system for processing.
